To support Soldier’s On 2025 Remembrance Day Campaign, Australians are being asked to turn reflection into real action by taking part in the 48-hour Matched Giving campaign, starting 8:00 am Tuesday 4 November and running until 8:00 am Thursday 6 November.
Every dollar donated during this period will be doubled, up to the first $75,000, helping Soldier On provide life-changing Health and Wellbeing, Employment, Learning and support Programs to veterans and their families across Australia.
The matched giving period builds on the organisation’s national Remembrance Day Appeal, which highlights the reality that many veterans face their toughest battles after service.
Soldier On CEO Paul Singer said doubling donations means doubling the impact of vital programs that help veterans find purpose, connection, and hope.
‘Remembrance is powerful, but action is what truly changes lives,’ Mr Singer said. ‘When Australians give during the Matched Giving period, they’re ensuring twice as many veterans and families can access the support they deserve – from mental health care and education to employment opportunities and social connection.’
Former Australian Army Combat Engineer Jason Isaac, whose story has touched thousands this year, said initiatives like this show veterans they’re not forgotten.
‘When I was struggling after my medical discharge, Soldier On gave me a reason to keep going,’ Jason said. ‘Now I see every day how much these programs mean to people who are still finding their way after service. Doubling your donation means doubling that hope.’
All donations made during the 48-hour Matched Giving period will directly fund Soldier On’s national programs that empower veterans and their families to thrive beyond service.
