We rely on the generosity of our donors so we can deliver holistic support, allowing Australia’s Defence families to look to the future with confidence.

Imagine having your whole world change in an instant. You’ve lost the job you loved, your identity, you feel nobody understands you, and you can’t shake those feelings of anxiety or depression.

This is the situation facing many Australian Defence Force personnel who’ve taken off their uniform for the last time and are trying to reintegrate into civilian life.

Tragically, the legacy of this hidden plight is an unacceptably high suicide rate among ex-service personnel and irreparably damaged families.

Soldier On is an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to saving lives by ensuring the critical final stage of a military career – planning the exit from service – is properly supported.

Bequests

Leaving a gift in your will can make a long-lasting impact in the lives of our veterans and their families for years to come.

A bequest in a will is the act of giving a gift to an individual or organisation. The gift may be a sum of money or an asset. Every year, the demands for support of our service personnel and their families are increasing. By leaving a gift in your will, you will actively contribute to the betterment of our veteran community through the delivery of life changing services.

Your contribution will ensure Soldier On can support current and ex-serving ADF members, as well as their families, in promoting their mental health and wellbeing, securing their future careers and keeping them connected to their community.

Whether large or small, leaving a bequest to Soldier On in your will can make a difference to the wellbeing of our veteran community.

Workplace Giving

Get involved with your workplace.

Contribute a portion of your salary and make a difference in the life of a veteran.

Workplace Giving enables you to donate from your salary before tax. This gives you the tax benefits of your donation immediately, rather than waiting for your tax return.

In some instances, employers will also match donations made by their employees, doubling your donation and providing greater support to veterans and their families.

Ask your employer about Workplace Giving opportunities available to you. If Soldier On is not in your employer’s current program, let them know you would like to donate to us via the Workplace Giving Program.

Regular Giving

Donate regular contributions and make a difference in the lives of those who have served our nation.

From as little as $5.00 a week, you can save lives and help Australia’s Defence families to look to the future with confidence.

Your ongoing commitment will support current and former Defence personnel and their families in building social connections, rewarding careers, as well as strengthened mental and physical resilience when a military career ends.

In Memory

On behalf of everyone at Soldier On, we express our sincere condolences on the loss of your loved one.

There are many special ways that you can celebrate their life and leave a lasting legacy that will change the lives of those who have served our nation, as well as their families.

You can make a donation to Soldier On to honour your loved one’s memory or create a tribute page  for your friends and family to donate and share messages of love and support.

You can also request In Memory envelopes to hand out at your loved one’s service.

In honour of your loved one, your contribution will ensure Soldier On can support current and ex-serving ADF members, as well as their families, in promoting their mental health and wellbeing, securing their future careers, and keeping them connected to their community.
