Soldier On re-launches “Serving On” Volunteer Program to support veterans and their families

During National Volunteer Week (19–25 May), Soldier On is proud to announce the upcoming re-launch of its volunteer program, Serving On, aimed at strengthening the delivery of life-changing services for Australia’s Defence community.

Re-launching in late 2025, Serving On is proudly supported by IBM and will offer opportunities for
volunteers to support veterans and their families through event assistance, mentoring and social
connection activities. The program will empower volunteers to give back through purposeful,
community-based projects.

‘Soldier On could not achieve the positive outcomes we deliver without the dedication of our incredible
volunteers,’ said Soldier On CEO Paul Singer. ‘With the re-launch of Serving On, we’ll be able to expand
our reach and impact, ensuring more veterans and their families receive the support they need to thrive.’

Soldier On extends heartfelt thanks to all volunteers for the vital role they play – during National
Volunteer Week and every week – in creating a brighter future for Australia’s veteran community.

Volunteering with Soldier On offers the chance to:

  • Make a meaningful impact in the lives of veterans and families
  • Gain new skills and experiences
  • Join a community of like-minded people committed to positive change.
