Soldier On CEO Paul Singer has been awarded the 2026 Ferris Family Foundation Fellowship to attend the Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management program at Harvard Business School in July.
The highly regarded executive education program brings together nonprofit leaders from around the world to explore leadership, organisational strategy, innovation and long-term social impact.
The fellowship covers all course fees, travel and accommodation costs, while also supporting recipients to connect with leading nonprofit organisations across North America. During the trip, Mr Singer will meet with organisations in Washington and New York that provide services and support aligned with Soldier On’s mission to help veterans and their families thrive.

Soldier On Chief of Staff Dr Sandi Laaksonen-Sherrin said the fellowship was a significant achievement and recognition of Mr Singer’s leadership within the veteran support sector.
‘Paul’s commitment to supporting veterans and their families, along with his vision for the future of Soldier On, make him an incredibly deserving recipient of this opportunity,’ she said.
‘This fellowship will not only support Paul’s professional development but also create valuable opportunities for Soldier On to learn from and collaborate with organisations delivering innovative support services internationally.’
Mr Singer (pictured above, L-R, Willea Ferris, Bill Ferris AC, Arabella Gibson, CEO, Gidget Foundation and also a Fellowship recipient, Paul Singer, selection panel Chair Lisa George and Ben Ferris) said he was honoured and grateful to receive the fellowship opportunity.
‘It’s an incredible privilege to represent Soldier On and to have the chance to learn alongside leaders from across the nonprofit sector,’ he said.
‘I’m very grateful to the Ferris Family Foundation for this opportunity and look forward to bringing back insights, ideas and connections that can help strengthen the support we provide to veterans and their families here in Australia.’
