OUR TEAM

Our Explosive Ordnance Services (EOS) team enables the Australian Defence Force through storage, distribution, maintenance and disposal of these systems, all across Australia. As a turnkey solution, we offer the opportunity to gain a holistic understanding of our business operations, creating huge opportunities for growth.

Within our logistics services business there are 17+ depots throughout Australia, allowing various development and progression opportunities.

YOUR ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Safety Co-ordinator to join our highly motivated team.  Based in Orchard Hills NSW, this role is responsible for Safety, Security and System Compliance both locally and across the region.

You will have experience in providing guidance and counsel to staff as well as advising your peers and managers on Safety and Security issues. The role also provides administrative support to ensure depot compliance, giving a high level of responsibility to the position.

Working at our Orchard Hills site, on Darug land, your role purpose is to:

  • Implement and administer safety and security practices
  • Coordinate return to work and rehabilitation plans for staff within the region
  • Ensure regional compliance with the Defence Industry Security Program (DISP)
  • Liaise and maintain effective relationships with Commonwealth and State/Territory Government agencies and Defence stakeholders
  • Conduct safety and security risk assessments and review and implement control measures
  • Assist the Site Manager as required in the delivery of safety, security and systems management

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent experience
  • Ability to identify and assess risk and deliver training programs
  • Computer literacy with a sound knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products
  • Experience within a warehousing, stores and logistics industry would be highly desirable
