OUR TEAM

Our Explosive Ordnance (EO) Services team enables the Australian Defence Force through storage, distribution, maintenance and disposal of these systems, all across Australia. As a turnkey solution, we offer the opportunity to gain a holistic understanding of our business operations, creating huge opportunities for growth.

YOUR ROLE

We are seeking multiple Disposals Officers to join our team. In this role, you will support disposal activities across the EO network, preparing disposal stock and conducting disposal operations at various EO depots and Defence ranges. This position requires a proactive approach, including travel to different locations, coordinating activities, and collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders.

Located at our Myambat site (open to other EOS sites), on Wanaruah and Kamilaroi land, your role will be:

  • Conduct disposal activities at designated locations, including pre- and post-activity tasks
  • Coordinate personnel involved in disposal operations while ensuring compliance
  • Assist the Disposals Manager in planning and administering disposal activities, including creating technical documentation and job safety environmental analyses
  • Engage with EO depots to facilitate effective disposal operations and manage logistics
  • Maintain communication with internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives and deadlines are consistently met

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • Qualifications in Explosive Ordnance or knowledge of Dangerous Goods or equivalent experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office & practical knowledge of inventory management systems
  • Previous experience in Logistics, Warehousing and/or understanding of defence disposal policies is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
