Join the all-female Bushcat Aircraft Build at Fly’n For Fun 2026
RAAus is calling on female veterans to take part in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, helping to build a real aircraft from start to finish. The Bushcat Aircraft Build, held at Fly’n For Fun 2026 in Parkes, NSW (arrival 22 March 2026, building from 23–28 March 2026), brings together an all-women team to complete the construction of a Bushcat aircraft in just five days.
No prior experience is needed, just a positive attitude, teamwork, and a willingness to learn. Participants will be supported by experienced supervisors and work side-by-side with other women passionate about aviation.
Thanks to the generous support of GAP Aero and ROTAX, the build highlights collaboration, inclusion, and the growing role of women in aviation.
This is an incredible chance for female veterans to:
- Gain hands-on technical experience in a safe, supportive environment.
- Connect with others who share an interest in aviation and engineering.
- Contribute to a visible celebration of women’s skills, leadership, and teamwork.
There are limited places available, and participants must be available for the full five days.
Applications close 10 December 2025.
