Lendlease Victoria are currently looking for a Construction Security Manager to manage the physical, personnel, and information security requirements of an upcoming large-scale, long-term construction project in Melbourne.
In this permanent role, you will be responsible for establishing and managing project security protocols in accordance with our client’s security requirements, and the construction security plan, managing security governance, policies and procedures, facilitating training for project staff, and subcontractors, and undertaking regular auditing for the project.
To be successful you will need:
- To be an Australian Citizen at the time of application.
- Hold a Government Security Clearance or the ability to gain and maintain one if required.
- Construction industry experience, particularly from a Building Services, Quality Assurance, EHS, and Rail Assurance background, as you will need an understanding of construction site operations.
- Experience managing security requirements on a defence and/or construction site and an understanding of Government Security requirements.
- Ability to facilitate client security meetings and resolve issues, and report on matters relating to Security compliance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, as you will be liaising with different groups of internal and external stakeholders, including Government, and regulatory authorities.
