Royal Commission
into Defence and Veteran Suicide

On 8 July 2021, the Australian Government announced the formal establishment of a Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide.

The Royal Commission will examine systemic issues and common themes in past instances of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and veteran suicides. These include suspected suicides and suicide risks.

The suicide rate among serving and ex-serving men and women is simply unacceptable. This problem is pervasive and now well recognised by individuals, organisations, and the government.

The Royal Commission openly invites submissions from the public and institutions.  Soldier On is an active participant in the Royal Commission by preparing a submission informed by you.

Here are two ways you can contribute to the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide
