Elfin Berwick

Psychologist, Director of Health & Wellbeing

Elfin has worked across research settings, education settings, clinical settings and in private clinics. She has a long-standing interest in working with people who have experienced difficult relationships and adversity, both within the military and within the context of family relationships. She has worked extensively with children, adolescents, and adults navigating extensive adversity. She has also delivered multiple parenting groups within clinical and community settings. She has a longstanding interest in working with veterans and their families.

The initial focus will be on building a strong working relationship and developing shared insights. Elfin will then draw upon these insights to find an approach that best fits with your needs and your strengths in consultation with you. She will take careful consideration in discussing the pros and cons of different approaches and only go ahead with your approval and consent. She will also be open and transparent and share her thoughts when you ask to support the development of an honest therapeutic working relationship so that she can see you. She thinks that it is only from a place of being seen and understood that psychological growth happens.
