As the son of a Vietnam Veteran, Andrew is proud to have served in the ADF for more than 40 years. During this time, he had a wide variety of Army and Joint command and leadership appointments in the fields of operations, logistics and training. His final appointment in the Australian Regular Army was as Commandant of the Army Logistics Training Centre.  

Andrew has seen many overseas deployments, including; Bougainville, Iraq and the Middle-East. During his deployment to Iraq, Andrew received a Commendation in recognition of an exceptional contribution to the coalition mission. Andrew was also later awarded the Commendation for Distinguished Service for his service in the Middle East Area of Operations.  

Since leaving the ADF he has continued pursuing post-graduate qualifications, including recently graduating from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.  

Andrew has expanded on his highly developed executive level leadership skills across a variety of disciplines spanning logistics management, operations and contract management, project management and education, and training management.  

As an experienced senior executive, with a demonstrated history of working in the Defence and Government sectors in Australia and internationally, Andrew has a commitment to supporting veterans as they negotiate transition from their successful military careers to thrive in civilian roles.
