Anthony Gill

Service Ambassador

Anthony is a full-time Dad with an ARA wife. His general philosophy on life is “don’t take life too seriously, no one gets out alive”.

Anthony served nine and a half years in the Army in the Royal Australian Engineers as an Emergency Responder in a variety of situations both nationally and internationally.

Due to chronic injuries and a diagnosis of PTSD, Anthony was medically discharged in 2013. Following this discharge, Anthony says he was aimless and searching for a cause or some meaning. In January of 2018 Anthony’s wife registered him for a deep-sea fishing trip hosted by Soldier On.

Whilst an Ambassador for Soldier On, Anthony wishes to raise awareness of Soldier On, and assist people and families to understand that reaching out for help is not shameful or weak.
