What is mentoring?

Mentoring is the activity of supporting and advising someone with less experience in a particular area of interest, such as one’s career or personal development.

Our program

Soldier On and Boeing Australia have teamed up to create and develop a mentoring program for veterans and their families.  Aimed at providing support for the ADF community in areas such as career progression, skill development, career change, career planning, professional networking, and the transitioning phase from the ADF.

Participants from Soldier On who are accepted will be paired with a company Pledge partner employee who will become their mentor for the duration of the mentoring program. Mentees will develop goals and along with their mentor, strategize how to achieve these goals. Whether personal or career-related goals, both parties through meetings and other communications will work together to achieve these set goals.

This program utilizes a mentoring platform that will enable you to network with others involved in the program creating opportunities for growth and development. The program is flexible to tailor to your needs and what you gain from this program depends on how much effort and time you put into it.

Duration

Each intake runs for 11 weeks.
Intake two begins on 11th July 2022 and finishes on 16th September 2022.
