Kitchen On – Market to Plate

Kitchen On is a full cooking and Nutrition program run by the team at Sprout cooking school, owned and operated by Master Chef’s Callum Hann.

Callum and his team have put together a 3 week program for Veterans with hands-on cooking classes tailored to meet the needs of individuals, allowing participants to learn new skills and gain confidence in a friendly, inclusive and supportive environment. This will including a market tour of the Central Markets to collect fresh produce.

Just like all their other classes, participants will learn to prepare healthy, fresh and tasty meals that can easily be recreated at home. However, to better support participants we’ve:

Reduced class size allowing for additional staff support
Provided additional cooking time for each meal
Ensured a calm, quiet and spacious environment
Scheduled classes within day-time hours
Improved disability accessibility including wheelchair access and adaptable kitchen equipment

 

PLEASE NOTE: This activity is exclusively for Current and Ex-Serving Veterans

 

LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE

You must be registered with Soldier On and be able to attend ALL 3 sessions.

CHILD SAFETY: Please note this is an ADULT ONLY activity no children will be able to attend.
