Female Vet Connect

What is a Vet Connect: The Soldier On Vet Connect program is delivered to veterans (current and ex-serving) in varying locations across Australia. These residential weekends will offer contemporary veterans (and sometimes support partners and families) with a fully funded weekend with a variety of activities, providing occasions for social connection, developing new skills, working toward goals for the future and positive mental health. The aim of this program is to increase the overall wellbeing of veterans and their families whilst building a greater understanding of their needs and situations through research and awareness. Who: This weekend is open to female veterans with post-1999 military service who are up to 18 months before transitioning or up to 5 years post transitioning. Please note this eligibility is for this particular weekend and we have other weekends available with differing eligibility. You will be required to participate in an intake call by our Case Coordination team and Psychology team. Once the screening has been completed, you will be notified if a position becomes available on a Vet Connect program in your area.
