Circle of Security Parenting Program

Apr 24th @ 10:00 am

The Circle of Security Parenting™ program is a reflective, relationship-focussed program for parents of a child aged 0-6 years. It provides parents with a framework to understand and meet their children’s emotional needs, which in turn, helps children feel safe, understood, and supported, in their relationship with their parent. Research indicates that this sense of security in their relationship with their parent helps children to explore the world with confidence, develop self-esteem and emotional resilience, and form healthy and trusting relationships with their parents and peers.

In this 8-week group program you will learn how to:

  • Understand your child’s emotional world by learning to read their emotional needs
  • Support your child’s ability to successfully manage emotions
  • Enhance the development of your child’s self esteem
  • Honour your own inner wisdom and desire for your child to be secure.

Research indicates that after participating in the program, parents may experience:

  • Improved capacity to understand their child’s inner world and behaviour
  • Increased parenting confidence
  • Reduced stress and distress associated with parenting
