Twilight Sailing

You are invited to join a Sailing Crew and learn the craft of Yacht Racing with our friends at the Royal Motor Yacht Club in Toronto, Lake Macquarie. This is a great opportunity for you to join a Race Crew and develop skills and a love of sailing. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t sailed before or if you’re the keenest of sailors, sailing is for everyone!

Numbers are strictly limited and it is hoped that interested participants can join the team on a weekly basis for the winter season and enjoy being part of a racing crew on these beautiful twilight races.

Where: 6 Arnott Ave, Toronto NSW

Who can attend: This is FREE and open to all current and ex-service personnel (given the nature of this activity – ages 18+ apply)

Please note: Soldier On Staff will be in attendance on the 8th of May and then monthly from this time and throughout the season.

RSVP is required! Contact activities@soldieron.org.au and we will get you in touch with the club.

We suggest bringing: Active wear, wet weather gear, non marking shoes, hat, sunscreen

Soldier On Albury is offering a term based Yoga program. This program is tailored to your individual needs and will focus on yoga techniques with strength, stability, and flexibility linked with mediation and breathwork practices. No previous Yoga experience is necessary

Where: The Space level 1, 490 David Street, Albury

Who can attend: This activity is for Soldier On participants and their spouses (incl. current & ex-serving personnel)

Base Visit-RAAF Base Williamtown @ Chaplain Centre
May 27 @ 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Our Newcastle-based Programs Officer will be at RAAF Base Williamtown for the day. They will be working in the Chaplain’s Centre and will be available to discuss the services that are available for defence personnel and their families.

Our staff member(s) will happily conduct individual conversations that can go more in-depth with the participants and how we can tailor the program to meet their needs and those of their family. To register for an appointment please email newcastle@soldieron.org.au.
