At Soldier On, the health and safety of veterans and their family members that we support is our highest priority.  COVID-19 continues to affect people around the world and the situation is evolving quickly. Soldier On is monitoring developments and actioning the latest advice and regulations from authorities as they come to hand. During this time, Soldier On will continue to support the veteran community around Australia, and remain committed to enabling veterans and their families to thrive.
The delivery of Soldier On services will continue to occur. However it has been necessary to make some changes to our programs. Here is an update on how those services that you have helped support through taking part in March On will be modified for our veterans and their families due to COVID-19:
Psychology Services: Programs will continue to be offered by Soldier On Psychologists around Australia with increased attention to social distancing, hygiene and other health guidelines. Soldier On will look to implement Tele-Health and explore other solutions to ensure support is maintained as the situation develops.  For information, please email
Employment Program: Following the recent restrictions imposed by the Australian Government, all future Pathways Events have been postponed. Soldier On will continue to provide transition services and employment support to veterans and their families by working closely with Pledge companies. We will consider moving to virtual networking events and other solutions in the future. The Soldier On Employment Program is operating as business as usual. As the COVID -19 situation evolves, our employment support will continue via phone, email and online. For more information, please email
Education Program: Soldier On continues to support veterans and their families with education and training opportunities. Our Education Partners are working to expand online and virtual courses and Program Officer support is ongoing via phone and email. For more information, please email
Social Connection Program: Soldier On intends to keep our activities operational for as long as possible to provide connection opportunities for veterans and their families during this challenging time. We have undertaken risk assessments and are currently operating running outdoor activities within current health guidelines. For more information, please email

People who have been in close contact with a confirmed case of coronavirus should also monitor their health and seek medical advice. Practicing good hand and sneeze/cough hygiene and keeping your distance from others when you are sick is the best defence against most viruses, including COVID-19.  If you have returned from anywhere overseas are required to self-isolate for 14 days. During this time, you should monitor your health closely. If you develop symptoms such as a fever and cough, you should seek medical attention, remembering to call ahead.

Soldier On thank you for your understanding during this challenging time, and will continue to provide updates on our programs in line with Government advice.
Stay safe everyone.
